"DESTROY IT!!" lol for some reason a lotr quote came in my head and it's inspired more energy to the animation im working on....which is no longer the girl and water bucket, but a character smashing a clock with a hammer. O.o....its the last night....so it'll be up before i sleep....or after work...mainly before class.XD

Idea?

I feel kinda brain dead on ideas for the final that i would like to do and would show off principles, but then i thought any animation would show principles right?O.o so i just thought of what i would like doing......this seemed fun.

a dragon sleeping on the floor of a ravine. his sleep is interrupted by a warrior yelling to prep himself for battle with the dragon. dragon rises to the top and the warrior turns and runs terrified. dragon sends fire breath after the warrior, the force of the fire breath pushes the dragon up into the sky (out of camera shot). then the dragon flies away in search for a better spot to sleep. * thinking of ways to better this~ ^ ^

the dragon is basically a dog head with horns and a beard, long snake like neck, kangaroo looking legs and wings for arms. should fly something like an eagle. would like to animate the text to show yelling.

final idea

thinking of doing something with emotions because this is so beautiful and one of my favorite things about animation is having a character show great expressions that convey deep emotions. this seems terribly daunting though, may need to reconsider-actually this would might include too much story to try...i'll think of something else probably with push and pull!...ok...thinking...

11 Second Club-new idea

trying to be simple and clear. weapon researcher is dead lol.

The new idea is a know-it-all raccoon. He is a father raccoon explaining his definition of tv is to his son. He takes everything he says to his son seriously because he believes every single thing he knows will be key in his son's survival (tends to exaggerate) . He believes tv is power because it holds human attention while he is able to get through trash or through a doggy door to raid for food.

i. What is his job?

To take care of his son and teach him how to survive.

ii. What does he want?, motivates him?

He wants his son to be as great a survivor as he is. To obtain good food is his motivation in teaching his son.

iii. What is he afraid of?

deathly terrified of being caught by humans or shot.

iv.What makes him unique and not cliche?

most raccoons just want to get by. He wants to be the best at everything-including just "getting by". he loses himself in thought constantly.

v. Who is he talking to?

his beloved son.

vi.Why is he saying this to this person? What does he hope to achieve by saying

it?

he is teaching his son in the hopes he will become the next greatest-smartest raccoon out there.

vii. How does he feel about the person he is talking to?

he loves his son immensely and is serious about his well-being; in many cases this comes off as a very stern father.

viii. Where are they?

in a hollow log outside the house the father will teach his son to raid.

this picture was the inspiration because he just looks like a schemer^ ^

movement study

O.o.
I moved the camera to cut off her feet because it felt more focused on her face; plus the mechanics of the feet were a little distracting. I should add more of a weight shift when she turns to the side to check out the box, and I would've liked her to hold the box in the air longer before bringing in back down to her side. I tried to concentrate on the feeling-her worry for the bird and then happiness. I shall fix it up XD

i really like the expressions Linda sketched out. It made me think of a child that just set her baby bird free to fly and just watched as her bird disappeared-but it returns =). if it's okay to use this i'd like to ^ ^
